Kim’s work reflects her engagement with the natural enviroment whether in textures, shapes, colours or decorations. Her current collection has an autumnal theme in which herbs, seed heads and autumn leaves play an important role. She draws her inspiration from her cottage garden by the river Avon near Bath and from her long walks in the surrounding hills and valleys.
Kim’s pots are individually hand formed or hand pressed showing a remarkable understanding of ceramic techniques. There is often as much attenton to detail underneath the pots as there is to the surface. The pots are fired to 1080c making them suitable for everyday usage.
