Lisa Hammond

Lisa has lived and worked in London since 1979. She has taught and lectured extensively, teaching at Goldsmiths College for 12 years. Lisa has been soda glazing since the early 1980s.

Her time is now divided between making high temperature functional sodaglaze pots for the preparation, cooking and serving of food and making sodaglaze one-offs and Shino ware which are more expensive and individual.

In recent years Lisa has become fascinated with Japanese Shino glaze and has experimented extensively ith both glaze and firings.
